Benoit is passionate about software design and big data. In 2016, he co-founded the startup bciti.com that now provides a smart city platform to +50 cities in Canada. He received his PhD in Cognitive Computer Science in 2019 and joined shortly after BC Cancer as the lead software developer for the Department of Molecular Oncology’s bioinformatic teams.
